Experienced tutor in Acting in New York, Adam P offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

My coached experience with Adam went well beyond my expectations. Adam knows the business from the inside out and was extremely passionate and generous in sharing his knowledge with me. He went the extra mile to help me, help myself in my journey to obtain a goal. I highly recommend Adam for your Voice Over and Acting instruction.

Love it! It’s great and a lot of insight I feel like a stronger actor whenever I get the chance to work with Industry Eye

Adam's coaching has done wonders for my awareness of the ways I use my voice and how much more variation I can leverage. I started working with him specifically for the purposes of voiceover work but over time I began to see how his instruction also benefitted my public speaking. A added advantage I wasn't expecting!

Very helpful. Focused on exploring and understanding the inner character.

He really knows how to help my child get into character.

Adam is so insightful and has a talent for catching the blindspots we can miss about ourselves, our branding and our own talents. He is passionate, informative and an invaluable resource for moving to that next level with your career. I can't recommend him enough whether it's for audition coaching, rebranding (headsets, website, social media, resumes) and career advice.

I’ve worked with Adam onstage and I’ve also been coached by him. As both actor and instructor, Adam has a clear perspective and possesses the vitally important ability to convey that perspective in a way which allows his fellow actor and student not only to receive the information, but to react to it. He knows his craft and he knows how to relay his knowledge to other actors in a way that activates both the actor and student.

I've worked with Adam to help develop my voice and acting preparation for commercial and character VO work. He's provided me with his real world experience and actual scripts he's read, and explained much of the business side, that I've had so many questions about. I recommend him to anyone looking to take VO work serious.

it was a great first lesson, I enjoyed it. there was no bs and I learned quite a bit. Let's DO IT AGAIN!

Adam P. Murphy is professional, honest and straightforward. He has helped me understand by choosing something that I may struggle with but want to improve..
Discussing how practice will become experience and will prepare me to take on the specific roles and focus on sharing my true strengths. To choose relevant strengths that are applicable to the position or character in acting, voice over and comedy. I will continue to work with Adam and Industry Eye because it’s been nothing but positive growth. I highly recommend Adam P. Murphy for a level up experience.

Adam is an absolutely fabulous coach. Great attention to detail and knowledge of industry standards. Very flexible with super reasonable pricing. I would 100% recommend him.

he is a great teacher & helped me nail auditions

Flexible hours. Available on short notice. Amazing prices. 2019 was the best acting year of my child's career thanks in part to coaching by Adam. Not only did we get many callbacks, my kid booked commercial, print, music video and a feature film! Will definitely be using Adam again this year as we go into pilot season. His advice is always spot on and his insights really resonated with us. We can't thank him enough.

Working with Adam has been a great experience. The very affordable rates and low key fun atmosphere often have me forgetting I am in a class. We have shared many laughs, but he does not let you get away with bad habits!

He is very hands on and specific to strengthen your weaknesses in acting.

His honest and inside look into conducting yourself before and during Auditions! His energy is engaging and lessons are great.

Industry Eye is dedicated to your success. As a beginner to the acting world, I like how they made me feel comfortable from day 1 and still do months later. They will help any novice or season pro book the gig of their dreams by bringing truth to your performance!!

He’s the only person I go to for a pre-audition tuneup.

Adam has in depth and lengthy experience that he readily shares to benefit you, he doesnt just teach, he coaches and prepares you for the challenges. He is always there to answer your questions and is a great communicator. I can go on and on...

Adam is an excellent coach. He takes his time to teach accordingly, is patient, understanding and great with kids. Is readily available to answer questions or address any concerns. He has coached my son who is currently working on his acting skills and helped him book jobs on numerous occasions, Highly recommended !!

Knowiedgable, encouraging, knows his stuff!
