About John
My clients have appeared on screen in shows that include: Law & Order SVU (NBC), Blue Bloods (CBS), and Shameless (Showtime).
I'm an experienced acting coach with years of experience as a performer on Broadway and on screen as well. So, I come from both sides of the creative table. I also have worked in the LA office that cast Carpoolers for NBC, the School of Rock TV series, Girlfriends & The Game (CW), & Shake it Up (Disney) to name a few.
In addition, I'm an accomplished writer who recently reached the #1 spot on Amazon's Hot New Releases List in the Acting and Auditioning category with my latest book, “My Big Fat Broadway Debut!” I most recently directed the world premiere staging of “Hazing U” off-Broadway. I am well versed and ready to equip you with the tools you need, whether it’s Film/TV or stage.
It is always great to see the growth in students. With work, positive change is inevitable!
I originally trained at the Boston Conservatory and have worked professionally at the highest levels. I have coached pros and beginners alike for over 20 years.

I am so excited to continue on this path I started with Steven! Best coach I seriously have ever had so far. He definitely get it and knows a lot about the craft and the business!
He has so much experience and is such a great acting coach. I started out feeling a little afraid and he really helped me get over my fears.
Mr. Cutts is has years of experience on both sides of the table and it shows. I'm so grateful to have him as my coach!
Best acting coach I've ever had! 😀
Sasha Allen: Whether we're working on material for film, TV, or Broadway, Steven Cutts has been an amazing coach with a practical approach to making truthful choices. I highly, highly recommend him!
