About Alyssa
Expert In Shakespeare! This is externally helpful if you are looking to audition for colleges. Vocal, facial, and breathing warmups are key to my practice.
I love helping children make breakthroughs in acting. I love watching the shy child come into their own while they're on stage. I believe in instilling a life long confidence in children.
I am certified in NY to teach theater K-12 along with a masters degree in theater education. I have also taught preschool theater and acting students who were in their 90s.

I ask what a student is interested in learning and create a program centered around them. We first start with breathing and vocal work and basic acting skills.
If a student has an end goal in mind (an audition for college or any performance based opportunity) I work with the child specifically on the requirements for the audition while also incorporating breathing, vocal, and physical warmups throughout the lesson.
