Matthew has been tutoring my 12 year old 2x/week in coding and has impressed me with his deliberate and thoughtful preparation, responsiveness both during and outside of tutoring, and professionalism in communication. Tutoring virtually has been seamless with Matthew. What’s more, my son has shown tremendous growth in coding. He’s never taken any coding classes before and this was his first introduction besides games on Scratch Jr, but my son is already using Python and creating simple programs that interest him and keep him engaged.

We found Matthew at the last minute, same day actually, to help my granddaughter with a very important semester test in math. He was so accommodating and was able to help my granddaughter pull 2 grades higher than she had been getting. Since then, he has been tutoring her weekly and her grades in not only math, but ELA, history and science as well have all shown great improvements. Some people can do but not teach, however, Matthew has the gift of both. He also was able to win over a very temperamental teenager and get her to almost enjoy studying. He has given her the confidence boost she needed to convince her she knows the material. Matthew goes above and beyond just tutoring. He has been instrumental in contacting teachers directly to get the material my granddaughter needed to continue her studies throughout the summer months in preparation for the next school year. I can't say enough good things about Matthew. We will definately be taking advantage of his knowledge and expertise in many subjects for the next couple of years.

Matthew has been working with my 8th grader for months now. Initially I was resistant to tutoring as in the past it has not been helpful. However, with Matthew it has been a totally different experience. She never complains when it’s time for tutoring, and seems to be really engaged during the session, from what I overhear. Best part is that her grades which were approaching Ds, are not a solid B. And this is without any additional drama at home which we used to have whenever I would nag at her to do homework, study, etc… I highly recommend Matthew!!!
