About Kaitlyn
I absolutely enjoy math and love teaching it even more. I've been tutoring in math for five years now, online and in person. I pride myself in being able to turn the hardest math questions into simple steps that lead to the answer. I've been in advanced math classes for seven years and have several awards for my acceleration the math program and for my tutoring abilities.
I have always enjoyed teaching, and I started tutoring when I realized I could help people in classes I have completed. My goal is for students to get the best grade possible, and for them to truly understand math concepts and how to apply mathematics.
I have been in advanced math classes for over 7 years and I have been trained in tutoring for five years now. I come from a long line of teachers in my family, so teaching comes very easy to me.

Tutoring with me is very simple. First, we'll go over the problem, the student will ask me any questions they have, and then we'll go step-by-step to figure out the problem together. After a couple of problems with guidance, the student will try it on their own. I don't give answers, so students are truly learning the reasoning behind certain processes and steps in math.
I have worked with many different students, including students from grades 2 to 11.
