About Marcia
I’m a holistic Healing Facilitator and teacher of holistic healing. I’ve been a Healing Facilitator since 2002 in the Durham, Chapel Hill, Raleigh area of NC. I’m also an Intuitive Spiritual Counselor. I teach all levels of traditional Usui Reiki as well as Crystal Healing, Angel Intuition and Healing, Angel Card Reading, Core Shamanic Healing, and Medical Intuitive Work. Its a pure joy for me to see my students learning and growing as they master their skills as Healers and Intuitives. Many have set up their own practices and are doing so well. I love helping my students acquire the skills, healing, and practice that they need to feel competent and comfortable in their own holistic healing practices.
I initially was trained to teach Reiki in 2003, and absolutely loved teaching. I’ve expanded my classes and now teach many different trainings in holistic and alternative healing and intuitive development.
I have a BA and MSW from UNC-Chapel Hill. I worked for over 2 decades as a clinical social worker. I’ve been trained as a holistic healer and teacher in medical intuition, Reiki, Medical Reiki, Angel Intuiton & Healing, Crystal Healing, Shamanic Healing, and more. I trained with Doreen Virtue, James Van’Praagh, Raven Keyes, Hank Wesselman, and many other wonderful teachers. I completed advanced trainings through The Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and am a faculty member, teaching across NC.

I generally speak by phone or email with the student initially to assess their training interests and experience and share with them about available classes to meet their needs. I’m available as needed during the student’s training process and beyond to answer questions and advise them as needed.
Ive taught students from all walks of life, all ages, very diverse group of students.
Follow your heart. Listen to your intuition. Do your research to find the teacher who resonates with you best.
I recently taught a Reiki Master and Master/Teacher class. We had 13 students graduating — 8 Reiki Masters and 4 Reiki Master/Teachers. Such a joy to know the good that each of them will do in the world through this accomplishment.
