About Shelly
I’m a certified American Heart Association instructor for layperson and healthcare provider CPR/AED/First Aid and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). In addition, I hold certifications in Emergency Nursing (CEN), PALS (Pediatric Advance Life Support) and Offshore Medicine. I’m patient and kind, plus a bunch of fun. The minimum class size for CPR is 5 students.
I was an Emergency room RN for 25 years, which I loved, and am also a boat captain. I’m super passionate about sharing what I’ve learned. I teach CPR, First Aid and Nautical First Aid. I’m also a sailor and love teaching people how to handle medical emergencies on the water through seminars and small hands-on workshops.
