About Coach marco
Hello, I am "Coach Marco" Marcus King, founder of Coyotes-Elite Basketball Academy LLC here in Gainesville, Florida. With over a decade of experience in player development, coaching, and youth mentorship, I’ve dedicated my life to helping young athletes unlock their potential both on and off the court.
Working with our team means more than just learning how to dribble, shoot, or defend—it’s about building your IQ, discipline, confidence, focus, and leadership. Every session is structured, energetic, and tailored to the athlete’s age, skill level, and goals. My approach combines fundamental training, game IQ, and real-world motivation to help players develop not only their game but their mindset.
Whether your goal is to make the team, earn more playing time, or simply gain confidence with the ball in your hands, we will push you to improve every day while keeping the atmosphere positive, challenging, and fun.
Here we live by the motto:
“Train with purpose. Play with passion. Lead with character.”
— Coach Marco

Coach Marco is ver personable and understanding. He's patient and motivating with the players
The growth I’ve seen in my son since he joined has been amazing not just on the court, but in his confidence, discipline, and focus. Coach King has truly poured into him, pushing him to work hard, believe in himself, and play with purpose.
It’s a blessing to watch your child develop under someone who genuinely cares about their potential and character. Thank you, Coach King, for helping shape not just better players, but better young men.View more recommendations
