About Kerry
As a credentialed teacher, I understand the importance of structuring learning towards each student. In addition to having over eight years of experience working with students of all ages and skills, I have extensive knowledge in various sciences. I have recently graduated from California State University, Long Beach as a double major in Nutritional Sciences and School Health Education. I love using a flexible and multi-dimensional approach to make the content accessible, engaging, and relate it to topics they already know. Due to my ability to tutor remotely, I can easily work my hours around what works best for my students.
Teachers and tutors are always reaching for the "a-ha" moment for their students. In this moment, students not only begin to understand the subject on a deeper level, but they also start to recognize their full potential. The most rewarding part of this job is helping kids reach this "a-ha" moment, so they can become lifelong learners!
