About Andrew
Hello and thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Andrew K. and I am a graduate of NYU Stern's School of Business where I received a Bachelor's summa cum laude in both Finance and Accounting (CPA track) and a Master's in Accounting. Further, I passed all 4 parts of the CPA exam with flying colors and am ready to give back. Currently, I work for one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms in a Technical Accounting/Transaction Services type role. My goal as a tutor is to help students understand concepts that they have struggled with but also try to make the process as fun and enjoyable as possible. I was also the salutatorian of one of the top high schools in Long Island, New York and can also teach high school, AP, middle school, and lower school curriculum.
I received two degrees in Accounting, passed the CPA exam with extremely high scores, and currently work in public accounting. I have a breadth of knowledge about accounting and am happy to help you achieve your goals!
I have a wide array of knowledge in various business topics such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management, ethics, etc. that I have garnered through my studies at university.
CPA Exam Candidates: I have a very comprehensive process that starts with the creation of a study plan. During our sessions, we will go through trending multiple choice and simulations, review key concepts, and ensure that you master the material. I have tutored dozens of students for all four sections of the exam and have gotten them to pass with flying colors (FAR, AUD, REG, and BEC). I really put in the effort to help you succeed along the journey to obtaining your license.
