Amy is patient and attentive and knows how to cater her lessons to meet students where they are at and help them to grow from there. She has provided opportunities for fun concerts and cello get togethers with other students. I am amazed at the broad range of students she teaches at every level and age from eight to eighty! She has helped me learn technique and a variety of music genres from rich classical to pop to traditional Celtic. I can feel myself grow in skill and ability with each lesson. She is so personable, engaging, and supportive in and out of her studio. I cannot recommend her highly enough if you are interested in learning cello at any level of experience!

Amy is such a wonderful teacher as well as a kind and hardworking person. She sets up her lessons so the student can decide how best they learn whether that’s having multiple songs at once, or taking things one at a time. Either way she is so patient and encouraging. I look forward to my cello lesson every week and have noticed significant improvement in my playing!

She’s incredibly encouraging and motivating and wants nothing more than to see you thrive. She pushes me to my highest potential and makes sure I can handle any challenge. I owe my improvement as a cellist all to her, both in music and allowing me to expand my abilities and showing me the best ways to push myself. Overall I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher to help me through my music career.

Amy has been my cello teacher for the past 5 years and she’s absolutely amazing! She is an incredible musician and works so hard to help me with my musicality, technique, she helps me pick music I’m interested in playing and has given me amazing opportunities to play in like pit orchestras, events around town and private recitals that she books for us.
