About Arthi
Hi there! I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. I have always been passionate about teaching and education, and have 3 years of experience tutoring Organic Chemistry at the college level. I have also worked with K-12 students in STEM outreach events that expose young kids to science and engineering. I am excited to have the opportunity to interact with students and help them succeed. I believe I am unique in that throughout all my schooling, I have always emerged as a natural tutor - even before having a formal position. I found myself being someone who my peers could go to for academic help, and the best part is that I loved helping them! I have been told that I bring positive energy to any interaction, and I am ready and excited to translate that energy into the growth of a student.
Nothing to me is more fulfilling than seeing a student succeed and experience that "Aha!" moment when they learn and understand something new. Education is something I deeply care about, and I would absolutely love to play a part in a student's growth. Each individual comes with their own unique experiences and stories, and I am so excited to interact with students. I come in with the mindset that I have as much to learn from students as they have to learn from me, and every interaction is humbling and meaningful. This is what I love doing, and I am so excited to share my passion with the community!
