About Karla
Harvard graduate with over ten years of experience in College Admissions Counseling. Former students have gained admission to Harvard, Yale, Stanford, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton, UCLA, USC, UC Berkeley, NYU, and other elite schools.
During my senior year, I applied to thirteen schools and was admitted to all of them. This list includes Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Johns Hopkins, Amherst, Rice, and more. Yale and Rice admitted me as a "likely" candidate, a category reserved for standout applicants.
My approach to college counseling is informed by my own experience as a first-generation college graduate. Students should not only be smart, but also interesting. Conveying that information is a complicated and emotional journey, but with good guidance, students can stand out to admissions officers.
I currently work in the Finance-Legal sector.
