About Renee
I offer classes that are tailored to suit your taste and lifestyle. I will gather information from you before we begin classes to familiarize myself with what your culinary abilities are, what type of foods you like and how much time you have each day to dedicate to preparing meals. Additionally, I teach knife skills, grilling, baking, kitchen set up, time efficient grocery shopping, and Dinner Party Meal Preparation. I understand that some people just don't mesh well with others for various reasons so I recommend trying one of my group classes to see if I will be a good match for you before you choose to take private classes. I offer group classes twice a month for $35, they include everything you will need for the class and you can even take your finished meal home to enjoy. My love of cooking began when I was a 5 year old little girl on the step stool helping my mom prepare dinners. I was fortunate to have pursued a career doing what I love for over 25 years at my successful Italian restaurant where I catered special events for upwards of 500 guests as well as a banquet hall where many beautiful memories were shared from Weddings to Baby showers. Due to health reasons I had to pass the reigns of my restaurant over and begin a new venture to share my gift and knowledge of cooking with others.

I will email a questionnaire or have a brief phone conversation to get to know your existing culinary abilities, if any, the style and type of food and meals you and your family enjoy and how much time you have to spend on preparing the meals. In some cases the students are proficient in Day to day meal preparation and they are wanting to learn how to prepare a dinner party menu. Each class will be tailored to suit the students needs unless it is a group class.

Such a great experience! I signed up for a group lesson and had never done a cooking class before and wasn’t sure what to expect. It was so much fun and Renee was so welcoming and a great instructor. She gave us great advice, was so patient and answered all of our questions. The food was totally amazing and I learned so much. The lesson gave me confidence to try new things at home.
