About Aaron
I can teach you how to make authentic East Los Angeles Mexican tamales just like my grandma taught me. Plus, a couple new techniques that I learned myself along the way.
I enjoy creating art with food. Yes, it is the culinary arts, and I love to experiment with new flavors and techniques in the kitchen.
Friend and family would ask me to teach them how to make tamales, and other authentic mexican dishes. I've been teaching people how to cook informally for years.
I have been to culinary school, I currently work at a 5 star, fine dining restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles. Most of my experience comes from cooking with my grandmother all through my childhood.

I start with a phone call, ask a few questions about their cooking experience, and why they want to improve their cooking skills.
All beginning students, and a couple of experienced home cooks.
Make sure the person you hire has passion in the kitchen. I may not be a world class chef, but you will have fun with me in the kitchen, and my passion comes through my food.
My catering company participates in food festivals all over southern california, picking one would be difficult.
