About Lakiesha
Hello! My name is Lakiesha, and I am a professional chef, culinary instructor, and hospitality professional with years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels.
My goal is to make cooking approachable, enjoyable, and stress-free. Whether you're a complete beginner, looking to improve your kitchen confidence, master knife skills, learn meal prep strategies, or explore specialty topics like handmade pasta, I tailor each lesson to your individual goals and experience level.
Students can expect hands-on instruction, patience, encouragement, and practical techniques they can use immediately in their own kitchens. I believe learning to cook should be fun, interactive, and empowering.
I hold a degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, and I currently teach culinary education in New York City. My combination of professional culinary training and teaching experience allows me to break down complex techniques into easy-to-follow steps that help students build confidence and achieve success.
I look forward to helping you become more comfortable, creative, and confident in the kitchen!
