About Jessica
Shiso Kitchen is a cooking class and private event studio in Somerville, MA, serving the greater Boston and Cambridge area. Led by Chef Jessica Roy, a Food Network contributing host and former Le Cordon Bleu Chef Instructor, the studio offers hands-on cooking classes, private parties, and team-building experiences in a dinner party–style setting with globally inspired menus.
Additional services include tastings, demonstrations, custom lessons, foodie events, and personal chef services. Most group classes begin at 6 PM and run approximately 3–4 hours. Group reservations are booked in increments of two guests, and all participants must be 18 or older. Pricing for group classes is typically $115 per person unless otherwise noted and is all-inclusive except for gratuity. Guests are encouraged to share allergies or dietary restrictions prior to booking. Payment is made in person by the attendee at the end of class.
Shiso Kitchen maintains a firm five-business-day cancellation policy; deposits may apply to cancellations outside the notice period. The studio reserves the right to adjust or cancel class schedules as needed, with notifications provided to registered guests. Located at 374 Washington Street in Somerville, the space is designed to bring food lovers together to cook, learn, and celebrate.
