Perfect! As a new student in the culinary arts, I was concerned about going to a one-on-one cooking class, rather than to a group class. Upon receipt of her reasonable offer, I called Helen to discuss my lack of experience and my expectations for the class. She assured me that my limited experience was not an issue and suggested a few relatively easy meals for my first class. I decided to proceed and attended my first class with Helen today. Helen provides a great working environment in her beautiful and well equipped kitchen. She is a very knowledgeable and highly skilled chef who is very pleasant to work with. She taught me how to make 3 chicken dishes, and one fish (cod) dish. We also made tasty side dishes of rice, brussel sprouts and cooked tomatoes. Each dish was easy to prepare and they all came out great! Helen provided detailed instructions for my easy participation in preparing the dishes. After each dish was completed I got to do a tasting of our work. I was amazed and quite proud of the delicious meals we created! I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 1/2 hour cooking class with Helen and plan to do it again! If you are looking for a one-on-one cooking class (or even a small group), I can highly recommend Helen, She is a well trained professional chef who makes cooking easy and fun!
