About Carly
My goal is to use dance to serve a the variety of different needs for my students. Whether it be to improve technique in a certain style, improve performance ability, get a good work out, or simply to have a good time, I will cater each lesson to fit the student's exact needs.
I have been studying dance since the age of four and am lucky enough that I can now call it my career! I most recently returned from a year long contract performing in Grease on the second largest cruise ship in the world!
I received my BA in Dance from Goucher College and have been a dance teacher since the age of sixteen.
Dance is my greatest passion and I love to share it with my students in hopes that they will find just as much joy in it as I do!
Dance is one of life's greatest mediums of art. I find it amazing that we can use our bodies to tell stories without words. I love helping my student's find the joy in dance while also improving their technique and performance ability.
I have been dancing since the age of four and have a BA in dance from Goucher College. I have been a dance teacher for the past seven years and I now work regularly as a professional dancer.

I like to get assess exactly what my student is wanting to get out of the lesson. Then, I take the time to see where the student is at and come up with a plan of action to help them improve or reach their goals!
