About Briley
Experienced instructor in Ballet, Pointe Technique, Contemporary Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, and Tap.
I in particular love working with students privatly so we can work on specific goals towards their technique or artistry.
I have been teaching for about seven years and five years ago I started my own professional contemporary ballet company in Portland Oregon.
I am willing to travel to you if you have the studio available. Or I can book a studio if necessary.
I mostly stick to private and semi private lessons.

I was dancing professionally and wanted to expand my dancing career into other pathways. I tried teaching and absoltuly fell in love with it!
-Graduate of the Pre-Professional Program at the International School of Classical Ballet.
-Graduated Summa Cum Laude at the University of Arizona in the school of Dance.

At first I like to get to know the student and what their goals are. The first lesson or so will be me getting an understanding of the tecnhical level of the student. After that I start developing lesson plans to help the student improve and achieve their goals.
Ages 5 and up.
Find a teacher that you feel like you can connect with. Many teachers can teach the same thing but I find that it is most effective when student and teacher can really connect with each other.

How many hours are you willing to put in a week?
What are your goals and why do you want to take dance lessons?
Are you doing this for fun or do you want to be very serious with dance? Either way be clear to your instructor what you want out of a class.

Perfect! I greatly enjoy working with Briley and would highly recommend her to anyone who is interested in cultivating their dancing ability. She has studied at some very prestigious schools and remains humble and personable, yet she still pushes her student to their very best.
