I started teaching after several years of creating and selling my own artwork. I found that I enjoyed sharing my knowledge and techniques with others and seeing the satisfaction that came from their own artistic creations.
I have a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Sciences with Public Health Concentration and have completed various art workshops and courses throughout my career. Additionally, I have several years of experience teaching various art forms and techniques, which has helped me develop a strong understanding of effective teaching methods.

My typical process for working with a new student involves understanding their skill level and goals for learning. I usually start by assessing their existing skills and knowledge, and then tailor my teaching style to their individual needs. I believe in a hands-on approach and encourage my students to ask questions and provide feedback so we can work collaboratively to achieve their desired outcome.
I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels, from young children to older adults, and from complete beginners to advanced artists. I enjoy the diversity of working with different students and am able to adjust my teaching approach accordingly.
My advice for students looking to hire a teacher in my area of expertise is to research and find someone who has a strong background in both art and teaching. Look for someone who has experience working with students at your skill level and who has a teaching style that aligns with your learning preferences
I recently held a paint and sip event where I was able to teach a group of friends how to paint a beautiful landscape with two Flamingos popping out into the foreground. It was rewarding to see the progress they made throughout the session and the excitement they had in taking home their completed paintings. I also really enjoyed seeing the individual artistic choices that all my students were making, that's the glory for me.

It's also important to consider their schedule and availability for lessons, as well as their budget for instruction.
