About Ralph
I have taught drawing classes for beginners to intermediate students dealing with line drawing, simple perspectives and estimating values to define abstract shapes which lead to a collective and an overall definition of photo-realism. My specialty is portrait drawing and many other themes and subject matter. I have been drawing for over 30 years here in the United States and abroad in Sweden. I have formal training at The Rocky Mountain College of Art in Denver, Colorado an have had pieces exhibited in London, Singapore, Sweden, The Netherlands and here in the USA. I was and I am still asked to teach lessons from people. I enjoy giving them the lessons that I personally have learned and show them just how I achieve my results.
I have had formal education form The Rocky Mountain College of Art in Denver, Colorado along with 30 plus years of practical self-taught processes.

Showing the student the basics of drawing by what they see from either a live model or photographs, by defining values and shapes using a line drawing and using simple drawing tools and papers. Realism through a better understanding of the importance of value study, perpectives and combining these two to achieve the students expectations.
I have had beginners to intermediate students and even professional artists.
I always say to a student that patience, persistence and above all they must have passion to draw....if they have this then I can help them improve with thier drawing skills.
I have had recent sales to European galleries and private collectors in the past few weeks.
