About Mackenzye
I have taught three art classes at the juvenile detention center on the southside of fort worth, and have had my art showed in several exhibitions throughout the years. I have a heart for youth and especially troubled youth, and I love to teach coping skills through art. You can reach me by my facebook page, Kolors By Kenzye.
I had opportunities at work places to teach art, and then I started teaching classes at the juvenile detention center.

I like to ask about their specific personality, and why they have an interest in art. I like to explain how art can be used as a coping skill, and the different types of art that exist. Then I will show practical tips and tricks, and finally we will paint a specific picture together on canvas.
I have a history of working with students from ages 10-16.
Hire a teacher who has experience, and has had their art displayed as an artist themselves.
I love to photograph the finished paintings at the end of the class, to see all of the different styles students have but also what they have applied from what they learned.
