Mr. Howard as I called him for 7 years, has been the most impactful towards my art career. He has taught me so much throughout middle school and high school and has mentored me through life as I was growing up in high school. I could not have asked for a better art teacher which made my career in school so much better. Not only is Mr. Howard an incredible teacher, but he is also the most talented artist I know personally. He has so many skills and knowledge that he can share with his students.

Doug has an exceptional knowledge of art techniques, theory, history, and skill. I took lessons from Doug for 4 years and there was always something new for me to work on! He really works one on one to make sure that you understand the skill and can put it into practical use! My favorite part about learning from him is his use of famous quotes, and even quotes of his own daily!
