About Aaron
My main goal as a drumming coach is to bring out the best in the client by not just focusing on excercises, but coaching the student to then take what he or she has learned in our sessions and apply it to their daily performing so they may become artists and not just students who play prewritten pieces.
I believe technique, emotion, and how we hear the music determines how far we can go with our chosen instrument.
I've taught many children who are just beginning as drummers. This area of teaching is what I love the most. To take someone who is just getting started and work with them until they become proficient is a real joy. I love watching kid's faces light up when they begin to see what's possible with a pair of drumsticks!

I make an assesment based on their current ability and form a course around this.
If the student is a complete beginner, we focus on stick control, basic rudiments, counting and drum sounds before we move on to a drum set.
For more advanced players, I focus on the areas they need to improve the most and incorporate their chosen genre of music into each lesson
