About Jordan
I am passionate about civil engineering and love to teach others about how civil engineering affects their lives. I understand the challenges that a student will experience while learning basic and advanced engineering topics and assist in the student's learning with simple explanations, examples, and visual aids.
I graduated with a civil engineering degree from Brigham Young University - Idaho with an emphasis in structural engineering. Upon graduation, I began work at a notable structural engineering firm called Lochsa Engineering and currently work there.
Prior to graduation, I studied for and took the Fundamental of Engineering exam and passed on my first attempt. I believe the methods I used and descriped above were the key to my success.

Not only do I have a degree in engineering and passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, but I also work at a reputable engineering firm. Everyday I get to apply the principles I learned in school to real-world problems.

I like to get to know a bit about the student and their interests. Since engineering affects every aspect of life, I can use their interests to help the subject matter seem applicable. I also need to find out how far along the student is in understanding specific principles and what specific challenges they may be facing in their understanding of the subject matter.
