About Rachel
I'm certified Early Childhood (Birth-Grade 2) and Special Education Early Childhood teacher. I have years of tutoring experiences from early childhood to adult in various settings (individual tutoring, group tutoring, public school setting, etc.). You can find me on linkedin with my full name (Byul Yoon).
Supporting students with reading/writing skills and Korean skills is my true joy. I love getting to learn where they need help and getting to know each student.
I am certified Early Childhood (Birth-2nd grade) and Special Education Early Childhood teacher. I have B.A in Early Childhood and Communication and M.S in Special Education Early Childhood.

I always try to make a visit to have face-to-face conversation with not only parents but also with students. At first visit, I ask questions on what parents/students are looking for. Also, I try to find what students find fun so I can bring in such topics to tutoring sessions. I always start tutoring sessions with light conversation to catch up to build up relationship with students, especially with new students.
I have numerous years of working with students from all background. Not only I have experiences with young children, I have been tutoring elementary/middle school aged students reading and writing.
