About Sunny
I LOVE the English language. It's so fun learning words, where they come from, their different meanings and uses. I often play word games to keep my knowledge honed.
My husband is an author of 3 books, and I have edited his books and the novel of another friend. Wordsmithing is a passion of mine, the craftsmanship of communicating an idea or message in succinct, clear language.
My background as an elementary teacher has fostered in me a love for inspiring my students as a class, or one-on-one as a private tutor to grasp language as an art. Painting pictures with words can be attained by anyone!
Teaching English is a passion! First, because it's so necessary in today's world to know the English language and to know it well. Second, for me it's a challenge to constantly keep learning myself, and a teacher always learns from their students!
I've taught in the public school system, given private lessons, and homeschooled my son through high school. Teaching is so rewarding, to see the student strive to learn, to please, and to advance. Life is learning and never stopping!
