About Emerald
Since I was young, I have always loved English and reading. Although this is my first time tutoring in English professionally, I was always helping my classmates and the younger students with their essays and the various topics taught in English Class. I am now a college freshman and I scored an A on all my essays in English 101. I am a compassionate person with a lot of patience and no other job, so I promise to make time to give you all the help you need. I won a lot of spelling bee awards throughout my many years in school and I also partook in AP language and AP Literature with an A in both subjects.

One thing I learned during my time in high school was that everyone has a different way of learning and the more comfortable a student is with his or her teacher, the more open they will be to the lesson being taught. Thus, I will try to make my student as comfortable as possible, ask them questions about how they typically study and what problem they are facing. Then I will work through the problem with them using different methods until they are confortable to work on different assignments comfortably by themselves.
