About Maddisyn
Hello! My name is Maddisyn and I am a certified teacher K-5. I have a degree in elementary education and I am working on a masters in early childhood education (birth through age 8.) I believe early intervention is the key to student success. I used fun and creative activities to help early elementary students grow in both reading and math.
2020-2021 I tutored 5 students grades pre-school through 4th grade.
2021-2022 I taught Math Intervention at an elementary school in Ferndale, WA

In the first few sessions I want to get to know your student. I will give an assessment in the area we are working on (reading/writing or math) and alongside that I will ask the student questions about themselves. What they like about to school, to do outside of school, what they are good at. This helps me incorporate their prefernces and strengths into learning so it is as fun as possible. The assessment will help me guage what your student knows and how I can help them best.
