About Elaena
I am a published author and experienced tutor. I worked at the UCSB student center as an acedemic writing tutor. I am also a poet and have 3 manuscripts in the works to be published. I have 15 years of experience teaching creative arts. I am a mother and wife.
I love fusing my passion for writing and creativity with my skills as a teacher to create transformational experiences for my students. I am enjoy infusing a love for learning into my students, combined with a passion for writing. I aspire to help them tell their stories, learn the English language, study the classics and gain the confidence to go after their dreams.
I have a bachelors degree in Sociology, 15 years of experience teaching creative arts and a published book.
