About Yana
I have been an elementary school teacher for 7 years. I am National Certified in Elementary Education for grades K-6, with my Masters in Curriculum and Instructional Design this allows me to create individualize plans for students differentiated learning needs based on assessment of learning gaps.
I have worked preparing students for specialized exams as well as, tutoring students age 3- 12th grade in all subject areas.
For young learners, I am trained in OG Phonics a method that supports learners in reading, writing and spelling. Securing students at a foundational level is the key to boosting confidence.
Aside from tutoring, I also offer consultations to help families identify learning gaps and access resources to support their learners at home.
I love working with students, building their confidence and watching growth which allows them to take pride in their successes.
