About Taylor
I am a professional writer with experience in news writing and reporting, copy editing, creative writing and writing for marketing and public relations.
I believe that words, and the ability to tell a story in an engaging way, give us a great power to educate, persuade and create.
I have worked for two of the nation's leading newspapers as a news reporter and have both a master's degree and bachelor's degree in journalism and communications.
I am eager to share my love for writing with new students in a fun, relaxed, understanding and patient environment.
I have served as a copy editor for several student news outlets in high school, college and graduate school and am comfortable editing work, explaining edits and offering suggestions for better writing.
