About Lauren
I've been teaching since 2009. While I've taught a range of age groups, my primary experience has been within secondary English classes. Over the last six years, I've worked as an instructional coach with a large school district and at the University of Delaware. My coaching specialty was in the development of specially designed instruction, and strategies to meet learner needs within the core curriculum (ie: ela, math, science, s etc). As a sibling of an adult who uses an AAC device, I also have strong skill set in literacy and communication development of students with low incidence disabilities and/or complex communication needs.
