About Samantha
I have more than 5 years of tutoring experience with children/ students with different abilities. I have tutored young children with learning disorders and college students with different learning abilities. I am currently studying to become an educator.
I enjoy helping students understand otherwise difficult material. It's extremely special when you help a child understand a subject in a way that is specific to them instead of the impersonal methods of the general education system.
I have always had a passion for teaching but especially began to love it when I realized that not all students are able to gain a passion for a subject due to poor teaching techniques.
I currently work for a school district and only have a year and a half left to receive my bachelor's and certificate in teaching.

I prefer to get to know the student over 1-2 sessions while doing work in order to ensure a personalized experience. I also ensure that the student is comfortable asking questions that will receive a sure response.
I have always served as a tutor to kids in my classes. In high school, I started tutoring college students in chemistry and went on to tutor at a nonprofit for bilingual students.
