About Breanna
I hope to stand out by exceeding student and parent expectations.
My credentials have allowed me to broaden my scope beyond that of a traditional classroom teacher to take on more roles than one.
I do hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate for both English and Psychology. Though my certificate is for grades 6-12, I also have years of early childhood as well as hands on in-classroom elementary experiance. I received my BA in Arts and Education from the University of Michigan School of Education. My in classroom experiances include hands on teaching in classrooms with Special Education/ IEP & 504, Read180 programs as well as Advanced Placement, ACT, SAT, and AP test prep and proctoring. Currently in the process to obtain TIP (Trauma Informed Practices) endorsement as well.
My combination of experiance and education combine to provide a well rounded set of English and Psychology tutoring services for students of any age!
I enjoy finding the multiple different paths ways to help a diverse body of students understand and have fun with their work. I understand that not every person learns in the same way, and enjoy the process of teaching with different tools and formats.
