About Geena

As a teacher, my favorite thing is to watch students grow and realize their vast potential. From providing instruction that improves reading comprehension to workshopping a research paper, I will support students in achieving their goals and exceeding their own expectations of themselves. I am passionate about all things reading, writing, and literacy-based!
I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education with a Masters in Reading, Writing, and Literacy. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mount Holyoke College with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Economics.
I have taught Middle School English and Social Studies for 3 years and tutored college students in English courses. My student teaching was in high school English.
