About Tessa
My job as an English coach is to help young children learn English so they can be successful not only in future jobs, but in life. I'm also certified to help children with special needs.
I love being able to help people and see them achieve their goals
I started working with children at age 12. I knew right away that it was what I was meant to do after working with my first special needs child at age 5. He is now 12 and is reading at a high school level!!
I am a junior in high school and plan on graduating early. I am certified in special education and early childhood development.

My typical process differs from many people. I tend to use different approaches then most people would. I also always use the reward system. It's very important to make sure the kids know they are doing well so they'll want to keep going.
I've worked with kids 13 and under. I work with children who are reading at a low level, kids with adhd, and much more
Look for someone who not only is willing to teach you English, but also one that makes you want to do the work. Not one that makes it feel like you need to.
I helped one of my students get into a higher level reading class

Tessa Helped my son in a way I did not think was possible. She used an approach i've never seen but it worked like a charm. with younger kids she finds a way to make it fun and keeps their attention. we love Tessa
I liked working with Tessa Because she helped me learn my spelling words and helped me pass my test
