About Britany
I am currently a middle school English teacher(6th and 7th grade). I have a Master's degree in teaching English as a Second Language and have taught 6-8th grade ESL. I have also taught 12th grade honors English, 9-10th College Prep, and 5th grade. I have been teaching since 2013. I specialize in essay writing, creative writing, college essays, teaching English as a second language, creating curriculum modifying work for special education, reading informational and fictional text, comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary enhancement.
I love working with students of all ages. I love to see growth, even if they are small. I love seeing students engage in their learning and I also enjoy making connections with students and combining their interests and passions with learning.
I have been teaching since 2013. I have a Master's degree in teaching English as a Second Language. I have a Bachelor's degree in English and middle/secondary education. I have been teaching middle school for the past four years. Prior to that, I was teaching 9-12th grade Englsih.
