About Thomas

Hello,

My name is Thomas, you can happily call me Tom. I am a recent graduate of Rowan University with a Bachelors degree in Sociology, a minor in International Studies, and a Certificate of Undergraduate Studies in Spanish and am certified bilingual. My areas of strength are in reading comprehension, writing, history, and Spanish. With the current state of virtual education it is important that students do not fall behind. I offer help in catching up or getting ahead in these areas of studies. If you are looking for a professional individual as well as a fun role model and tutor, I may be the help you and your child are looking for.

History, social sciences, and languages shape the world and are essential building blocks to studying any field. Studying sociology in college provided me with the skills necessary to understanding the world, institutions, and individuals. I hope to use these skills to assist and teach what I can.

I was a camp counselor and am good with children. Recently being in school, my knowledge in many subjects is still fresh.

I find it vital to understand the student's current proficiency. I like to focus on what the student finds to be their weak points or things they struggle with. Helping them improve in these areas will boost confidence and fuel further adaptability to new problems.
