I believe that one style of learning does not work for everyone. I always ask a student what learning methods have worked for them in the past. I also encourage students to find new methods. My tutoring process is student-focused and driven.
I have worked with a number of students. I have some experience helping students with accommodations due to learning disabilities. I also have experience working with students with self confidence issues.
As someone who has received tutoring in the past, it is vital to find a tutor that is compassionate and willing to listen to their students about which learning strategies are working and which are not.
