About Lashunika
Teaching students in ways that will grab their attention. Teaching them with hands on activities, verbal and more. Every child learns differntly and I am aiming everyday to teach the child in the way that they are the most comfortable with.
Teaching requires a lot of patience. It takes special people to teach special minds! I enjoy seeing my students learn and develop new skills. Seeing them go from not knowing how to do something to knowing how to is incredible to me.

When working with a new student, I like to see what areas are their strenghts in and what areas are their weaknesses. With this information I think of creative ways to stenghthen those weaknesses as well as firming up their strenghts. Some students learn better using pencil and paper and seeing things wrote out. Where some students are more hands on. I think of ways to incoporate lessons into things that they need to know or what they are struggling with.
