About Jack
I am a college senior at SUNY Geneseo who is a proficient writer and creative thinker. At Geneseo, I have served as an Academic Peer Mentor for the last two years, where I work one-on-one with students to help them accomplish their academic goals.
I have been trained to utilize a number of study strategies to work with learners of all levels. I am best prepared to work with students who need help with writing in all subjects, as well as a special focus on psychology and history.
I love knowing that students can walk away from sessions with a better understanding of the subject that has troubled them. I still am in their shoes as a college senior, so I can relate to that feeling.
The majority of my family are involved in education! My mom is a school counselor and my sister is a first grade teacher.
I have served as an Academic Peer Mentor for SUNY Geneseo for the last two years, working with students individually on study skills, organization, time management, and writing skills.
