About Amy
I am very flexible with my schedule.
I have been teaching for over 10 years and I love it! I learn new things and incorporate them into my teaching style which gives students a better understanding.
I have always had a passion for writing and excelled my skills in training.

Copy edit SAT and PSAT assessments for grades 7-12 (primary focus on grades 11-12) which included: support materials, test-related communications, and other test development publications to align content with assessment guidelines and TEKS

Arlington ISD – High School ELA Teacher - All Levels
· Wrote English/ Language Arts curriculum for the district, aligning TEKS and Blooms Taxonomy for teacher reference
· Deconstructed TEKS for grade level so teachers could better understand lessons to be taught in the classroom
· Served on the instructional model training team

· 190+ hours of on-going instructive growth for the classroom (both curriculum-based and behavior management)
· Attended Texas Christian University-Advanced Placement education, AVID, GT, and Sheltered training
