About Hilary
I have helped kids who struggle with math, English, science, social studies or any other subject that you have trouble with. I love teaching kids and helping them accomplish what they set their mind to. I'm friendly and charismatic. I was the Valedictorian of my high school graduating class. I'm a junior in College and have taken many courses that can help kids learn effectively. Although I have helped with aftercare at schools, this is my first year tutoring kids.
In high school I use to help elementary kids with their homework's. I tutor my 3 siblings at home, they are all in different grades: 1st grade, 6th grade and kindergarten.
I'm a junior in college majoring in broadcast media, concentrating in English writing.

Get to know their learning style and implement activities that will help them learn effectively.
From kids that have difficulties learning to kids that are visual learners.
Make sure that it's someone you feel comfortable with. Don't be shy when asking questions or if you prefer an specific learning style communicate it to your tutor.
During the pandemic my siblings were having difficulties with only school and learning the material. I was able to help them learn in one on one lessons, they have excellent grades and they understand school material easier.
