About Jackie
I have been actively working in journalism for six years now, and am currently a college student. I have a passion for writing in every form, and have been helping others strengthen their writing for several years now.
I genuinely enjoy helping others improve their writing skills. To see somebody grow and and to hear their voice come out in their own writing is a true joy and a pleasure. I hope to help as many people as I can through tutoring, copy editing, and any other way that I can help my clients become stronger writers!
I started leading classrooms from the age of sixteen, and found so much joy in helping others find a passion or a comfort in writing. I started offering services personally for members of my staff that needed a bit of extra one-on-one assistance, and my teaching services grew from there!
I have been working in the field of journalism for six years now, throughout my educational career. I have worked as a student and a leader within many different classroom environments geared toward writing, reading, and copy editing.

When working with a new student, I talk to them about their journey with writing. I start by asking how much they actually like writing. Then, I ask how confident they feel in their writing abilities, and what they hope to achieve through our work together.
I have worked with a wide range of students, from 15 through 70s!
