I meet with students for 30 minutes to discuss their goal, and to assess their speaking and listening level. I also ask students to take a free, 20 question level test on my webpage. I then make suggestions for classes: how often, what the focus should be, etc. for students to think about.

I have worked with students from all over the world, from beginner to advanced. I have also taught TOEFL and General English. Business English is my specialty.

Make sure that the teacher has credentials and experience. It's not enough to just be able to speak English. They also need to have training on how to teach, as well.

Last weekend I was invited to a former student's surprise birthday party. I was so happy to be invited. I love when former students become friends.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should ask if the teacher can make the lessons specific to their needs. They should also ask the teacher how much experience they have had working with students like them.
