About REBECCA
Reading has brought much joy to my life and I hope to share the love of reading by tutoring anyone who needs help. I am a retired special education teacher. I have taught reading, grammar, and writing to people from first grade to adults. If one strategy doesn't work, I promise I will continue to try until we are successful. I have been tutoring for the last four years and my students have been very successful. Sometimes, it takes a long time to be a successful reader. Once we overcome the obstacles, it is a joy to see my students read! They're reading! We both are so excited when they're successful!
After many, many years of teaching I still am so happy and excited for my students when they finally read and write without struggling. When they start to read for fun, make better grades, and become confident I rejoice with them. I help your child by using all of my years of experience of teaching special education, first grade, and third grade to my tutoring sessions. I also taught adults how to pass the GED for many years. I'm happy to say that every one of my students passed! Yay!
