About Annette
My passion for teaching was inspired from my mother who was also a teacher in NYC. I began teaching middle school in 2003. I have received nominations for Diversity Educator of the Year twice in my education career. My expertise is working with all students from 6th-12th grades in the State of Florida. My certifications are in English, Reading and ESL. I've been able to incorporate my Bachelor in Business Administration into the classroom and I also have my own online business selling organic hair and skin care products. My philosophy is : " If you can read...you can do anything".
I know that I can coach students to have a love of writing and learning new english and reading strategies. I'm also bilingual and can speak in Spanish.
My mom was a teacher in NYC and she inspired me to teach.
