About Jarryd
English lit and writing is my absolute favorite subject. I love being able to take apart a text line-by-line in order to get a hold of that deeper meaning the author put there and getting it out onto paper. I've been an English/Writing tutor for the last few years, working at my campus tutoring center to help students and faculty of all kinds to make their ideas stand out and their papers error-free.
I have a Bachelor's in English from Central Connecticut State University, as well as worked in the on-campus Writing Center for over three years.

In the first session, we will probably spend a few minutes getting to know each other. After that, I usually start by asking about the purpose and context of the assignment. From that point, we can move on to what needs to be worked on and how to do that.
Mostly college students (undergrad-doctorate programs), but I've worked also worked with some high school students.
